Current upgrade guide will introduce the upgrade contents of 0225 version for you.

    Starting from MRT 0225 version, MRT data recovery software has been own 360 security guards certification, in the future, it could live in peace with 360 security and 360 anti-virus software. Users could use MRT normally in the computer which installed 360 software and it will no longer be a false positive for the virus. Other anti-virus software on the MRT security certification is still in progress. Before that, we introduce users to use 360 security software.

The latest USB to serial terminal board driver performance better and more stable, solve the problem of old version driver easy to stuck when MRT Seagate, Toshiha modules connecting COM port and at same time solve the problem of old version driver incompatible with USB3.0 mainboard.

  MRT firmware card driver is updated, too. You could install the latest version MRT firmware driver if you run DriverSetup.exe in installation package. The new version MRT firmware card driver improve its functions and stability, we introduce to update. Notice: 0225 version MRT application program is compatible with the old version MRT application program. Although you don’t update the new version driver, MRT application program could run normally.

   Database function is improved in this version of MRT. Through catalogue index, the time of expand the database file directory is greatly reduced. Although user’s firmware package has dozens of GB in size, it could expand and location rapidly. Notice: the new database function will create catalogue index file DbConfig.mdb in user configuration folder. If database is large, you have to wait for a long time, after created, you needn’t to wait for such long when you visit database next time (PC3000 and UDMA also have this process). MRT is compatible with PC3000’s database, so you can easily share the firmware.

 WD module adds the function of kill head, it makes user easier to repair WD disk in higher success rate. Samsung module adds the function of write ROM. This time we add ST U5 module, it is used to repair Seagate HDD before 10 generation. So far, MRT has been included all series of factory module, the same as HDD brands which PC3000 UDMA support.

  Toshiha module adds the functions of kill head and kill sector. It makes repair Toshiha HDD more easier and highly active. MRT Toshiha module is the only HDD repair software which provide the functions of kill head and kill sector in the market. Moreover, some newly listed Toshiha HDD currently in the market, its inner firmware is completely use the technology of Hitachi ARM. These HDDs right now is provided supports from MRT’s Hitachi-ARM module. You can choose Hitachi ARM module to deal with these HDDs.

    Data Explorer module adds the support for file system in this update. At present, MRT DE tools could perfectly support the file system of NTFS, FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, ExFAT and so on. It can be very convenient to extract data from a failed hard drive. The old data recovery module is deleted in this version, if you need the old DR, you could download MRT’s history version.
